Kindly be informed, that the assessment bill for the first half of the year have already been posted. Payments can be made at MPSP’s counter in Bandar Perda throughout the following operation’s hours:

Monday – Friday:                                      8.00 am – 5.00pm

Saturay – Sunday (7^th Jan – 28^th Feb)                   8.00 am – 12.00 pm

Online payment via credit card, MEPS FPX and Internet Banking are also available at www.mpsp.gov.my. Payments are also accepted at the counters of Ambank Group, Alliance Bank, CIMB Bank, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, POS Malaysia, Penang Development Corporation, PDC Setia Urus, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Telekom Malaysia, Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang and Municipal Council of Pulau Pinang. In addition, MPSP has appointed the following nine (9) banks as our agents, in which payments can be made through ATMs, CDM, CDT, SMS, WAP, Telephone and Internet Banking: Ambank Group, Alliance Bank, CIMB Bank, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, MBF Cards, RHB, Maybank, HSBC and Citibank.

Please be reminded that a late penalty of 2% will be charged on top of the amount due, if payment is received after or on 1^st March 2007. Additional 20% warrant of attachment’s cost will be charged on 15^th March 2007 on top of the total amount due. The council is permitted under the Local Authority Act 1976, to confiscate and sell any movable properties belongs to the defaulters, upon the attachment of the warrant. Court actions will be taken from 1^st April 2007 towards all defaulters owing over RM5,000.
